are you preparing for a war?! reALLY?!

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

The way how you start to approach your day -training- will determine the results what you will experience...

I do not feel that I have to conquer(!) myself, to kill(!) my body, to destroy(!) certain bodyparts or a need to suffer(!) to reach anything during my training. Instead of that I have to work with (!!) my Mind and Body together in perfect harmony and let (!) the body react to these internal (thoughts) and external (weights, exercises) impacts.

"So I do not use the „war mentality”* on my trainings anymore. I use a different point of view even with clients..."

This approach in training allows me to have more relaxed state of mind and it takes the edge of seriousness away.

So what's essential then? Sharp, precised, total focus is a must when we use this way! YOU MUST BE IN PRESENT TO BE ABLE TO EXECUTE THE EXERCISES! You must be connected mentally with the muscle you work with and you must allow your muscle to react to your thoughts. It means total mental and physical control during the exercise and you have to minimise momentum.

IS THIS THE BEST WAY?

I would like to mention that non of these point of views are good or bad or better than the other oneS. There are NO best ways... Use the one which works for you the best!

*The War mentality: before you start your training you tell yourself that you are preparing for a war (with the weights, with yourself and the rest of the world even) and you have to kill it and you have to be the alpha in the gym etc.

what else?

Start to wrap your mind around the concepts what I am sharing, read it over and over again, slowly. It's not a 1-2-3 min read as the blog suggests... You need to get it and use it to your advantage.

Please feel free to leave a comment or drop me a PM to book a session.
